STUDY ON BRAIN NEUROGENESIS
I present here my observations of a Parkinson’s patient who supplemented his diet with RG40, a natural remedy from Nutritional Medicine Research of London. As a friend of the patient I have witnessed a remarkable response.
Here are a few highlights and new information on an upcoming clinical trial.
The patient is a male 75-year-old retired surgeon, in good health except for Parkinson’s disease diagnosed 14 years ago. Eighteen months ago he required a daily dose of six 25/250 Sinemet tablets to perform essential movements and to alleviate the tremor. This led to side effects: dyskinesia, disorientation, agitation, social paranoia, depression, leg cramps, sleep apnea, insomnia, excess saliva, difficulty swallowing, dark saliva, ON-OFF periods, and constipation. He also lost much of his skill for reading comprehension and handwriting.
One year ago he was nearly bedridden and had developed partial paralysis and muscle atrophy in his right leg. He was too weak to answer phone calls from friends. After consulting with Nutritional Medicine Research, the family decided to include him on the RG-40 protocol. This allowed immediate reduction of Sinemet by half in the first month. Within a period of 6 weeks on RG-40, he had regained his ability to walk without freezing and was more alert.
Now at age 75 the patient requires only two and a half 10/100 Sinemet tablets per day. That is a total of 25 mg Carbidopa and 250 mg L-Dopa; only 15% of the amount he had to take one year ago. The side effects have nearly disappeared, his handwriting and reading comprehension have returned and he was able to travel for several days without handicapped facilities.
The Nutritional Medicine Research is now organizing a pilot clinical study that will include a number of PD and MSA (Multiple System Atrophy) suffering severe side effects like: dyskinesia, ON-OFF periods, incontinence, or freezing episodes. The aim of the study is to demonstrate that ultra-sensitive PD and MSA patients can alleviate side effects by following the RG-40 Protocol as indicated the Neurogenic Program.
